Dave began his career in the financial industry in 1975 when he joined Mutual Security Life. After an early focus on insurance and related services, Dave began focusing on financial planning and managed investment accounts.

Dave has always enjoyed working with people and numbers. He graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree in mathematics and then attended Michigan State University, where he studied mathematics and economics.

Dave lives in Central Illinois with his wife, Vicki. They raised three sons and now have been blessed with ten grandchildren. They enjoy travel, hiking and photography. (Dave loves the photography and Vicki is patient.) Dave has also been active with numerous charities, having served as the Chairman or President of several.

Mindy Byerly*
Financial Advisor

Mindy's interest in accounting and finance began in a non-traditional way.  She graduated from the University of illinois with a degree in bioengineering and eventually began a career at Caterpillar Inc. as a supply chain engineer.  Through managing a variety of supply chain projects involving the accounting department, she developed an interest in financial accounting and reporting.  This led to her current enrollment in postgraduate studies in accounting at Bradley University.

Mindy loves spending time with her husband, Adam, their two children, dog and cat.  When Mindy is not working or studying, she loves cycling, reading, and traveling with her family.
